Job Title:
Production Associate Job Description This role works in a high-volume foundry brake facility, operating at the end of automated machines to perform final inspection and handling of brake discs. You ensure each part meets strict specifications by visually inspecting and measuring components, then preparing them for packaging and shipment. The position requires strong attention to detail, consistent productivity, and flexibility to work on 2nd and 3rd shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Skills At least 2 years of manufacturing experience in a production or machine operator role. Proven ability to maintain strong job tenure and stable employment history. Demonstrated reliability and commitment to consistent attendance in a structured point-based attendance system. Experience working in a fast-paced production environment with a strong sense of urgency. Ability to perform precise visual inspections to identify defects such as flash, scratches, dents, and chips. Proficiency in using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers for spot checks and quality verification. Experience with production, assembly, and machine operation in a manufacturing setting. Comfort working in a foundry environment that may be dirty, dark, and loud, with some heavy lifting required. Flexibility to work 2nd and 3rd shifts and adapt to shift changes within the year. Basic familiarity with mold operations, machine operation, forklift environments, and foundry processes. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albion, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.13 - $23.13/hr.
