Job Title:
Production Operator Job Description The Production Operator will safely operate high-heat production equipment used to manufacture various products in a demanding industrial environment. This role involves working at heights of 10-15 feet, wearing a respirator, and consistently lifting 50+ pounds while maintaining strong attention to detail and following all safety procedures. Responsibilities Operate high-heat production equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety standards. Work at heights of 10-15 feet as needed to perform production tasks and equipment operation. Wear and properly use required personal protective equipment, including a respirator, hard hat, and steel-toed shoes. Handle materials and products that may leave residue and dust on hands, clothing, and equipment. Lift, move, and position materials weighing 50+ pounds on a consistent basis throughout the shift. Maintain clean and organized work areas in a high-heat, dusty production environment. Monitor production processes and equipment performance, reporting any issues or abnormalities promptly. Follow written and verbal work instructions, production schedules, and safety guidelines with strong attention to detail. Support general labor and machine operation tasks as needed to meet production goals. Work a 4-on, 4-off schedule with 12-hour shifts, demonstrating reliability and punctuality. Essential Skills At least 6 months of experience in general labor, manufacturing, construction, or a similar hands-on work environment. Comfort working at heights and performing tasks at 10-15 feet. Ability to wear and be fitted for a respirator for extended periods. Ability to consistently lift 50+ pounds throughout a 12-hour shift. Strong math skills to support production tasks and equipment operation. Ability to work a 4-on, 4-off schedule with 12-hour shifts. High level of attention to detail and reliability in following procedures and safety protocols. Comfort working in an adverse, high-heat environment with dust, dirt, and product residue. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with production, general labor, construction, machine operation, or general production work. Willingness to work with carbon-based products that generate black dust and residue. Ability to follow safety instructions and use PPE correctly, including respirator, hard hat, and steel-toed shoes. Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting production targets. Ability to adapt to repetitive tasks and physically demanding work over long shifts. Why Work Here? Shifts follow a 4-on, 4-off schedule with 12-hour shifts, requiring sustained focus and stamina in a hands-on, labor-intensive setting.
