Production Workers No experience needed! 1st and 2nd Shifts Available Job Description Join the dynamic Biosciences Division team in Carlsbad, CA, where you will play a crucial role as a Production technician within the Manufacturing team. You will be responsible for filling, capping, labeling, packaging, and/or assembling both sub-assemblies and finished goods for all Core Filling products. Responsibilities Fill, cap, and label vials, bottles, and tubes both individually and as part of a team, ensuring quality specifications are met. Follow technical documents such as standard operating procedures and manufacturing batch records. Perform tasks accurately to avoid production delays. Communicate effectively with work groups to ensure daily production completion. Work in standard and clean room environments while adhering to specific PPE requirements. Operate both manual and automated filling equipment safely. Escalate equipment issues to the maintenance team through verbal and written communication. Maintain accurate inventory records using JD enterprise or other related Database Systems. Interact daily with personnel in the manufacturing area. Complete training requirements on time and operate within manufacturing standards. Recognize deviations from accepted practices in routine work situations. Maintain lab supply inventory and reorder as needed. Essential Skills High School diploma 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent education and experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel, Outlook, and Word. Strong laboratory mathematical skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment. Team player with demonstrated experience supporting successful project teams. Good interpersonal skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Good Documentation Practices. Well-organized and detail-oriented. Highly motivated and dedicated. Work Environment The role involves standing, walking, and handling objects, tools, or controls regularly. Work is highly repetitive and may involve handling packaged hazardous materials. Flexibility in work schedules, hours, and overtime is required. The environment includes exposure to wet conditions, extreme cold, moderate noise levels, and occasionally moving mechanical parts. The role requires lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds and involves frequent reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Carlsbad, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
