#88332 Job Description Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a position for an Advanced Manufacturing / Production Operator in Taunton, MA . This role offers a hybrid work environment with a focus on building, wiring, soldering, inspecting, and testing electronic and cable assemblies used in advanced defense systems. The contract length is 12-24 months with the possibility of going direct. The pay rate is $27.87 per hour. The position requires a High School Diploma and 4+ years of hands-on manufacturing or cable assembly experience. No security clearance is required, and the work schedule is first shift. In this role, you will use your technical and interpersonal skills to assemble electronic and cable assemblies, interpret drawings and schematics, perform soldering and crimping, conduct electrical tests, and troubleshoot issues. You will also be responsible for maintaining quality standards, documenting work, and participating in continuous improvement activities.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience with: Soldering and crimping Cable assembly and harness builds Reading assembly drawings and schematics Measuring tools and electrical test equipment Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail Ability to inspect and verify quality of completed assemblies Comfortable using computers and basic production software systems Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented manufacturing environment Ability to remain focused and accurate in fast-paced production settings Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementNice To Have:
Experience soldering toJ-STD-001
standards Prior aerospace, defense, electronics, or classified manufacturing experience Experience with repair and rework of wiring, harnesses, or electronic components Familiarity with ERP systems or production tracking toolsQualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required plus 4+ years of hands-on manufacturing, cable assembly, electronics assembly, or production experience .Work Environment:
