Machine Operator (Production Technician)

Machine Operator (Production Operator) Recruiting Solutions is currently hiring Production Operators to start immediately for an Industrial client located in Columbia, SC. The Schedule is 7:00am - 3:30PM Monday through Friday, and the pay rate is $17.00 an hour. This position does have the opportunity to lead to a a permeant role.

Weekends OFF Responsibilities:

Read blueprints and/or work orders to understand part specifications and tooling materials needed for production Operating machines for production (CNC exp prefered) Responsible for performing machine set up including tooling, dies and fixtures Ensures pieces are inspected throughout production using basic M&TE Train other employees on basic processes and machine operation as necessary

Requirements:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required Three years of manufacturing experience required Ability to troubleshoot machines as needed Able to lift and or move 35 pounds frequently throughout the workday Able to follow instructions as directed by the supervisor. Work Shop experience preferred
