Primary Function:
Starts, operates, tends, stops, and cleans machines. To load and unload saggars on ceramic kiln bed based on schedule, prepare paperwork, and sign-off on operations. Operate the Kiln per procedure to ensure product flow and quality. You would usually work as part of a team under the supervision of a shift leader. The position is Sunday

- 07:00am. Initial Pay rate $17.28 per hour + $1.5 premium Training will be conducted during the 1st shift (7am
- 3pm), for approximately 6 weeks, and then move to the 3rd shift.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform all load and unload operations according to procedures. Loads saggars with raw material on ceramic kilns according to procedures. Make temperature checks as required. Change ceramic kilns temperatures per schedule to run different material according to specifications. Unloads fired product from saggars and identifies by lot number. Notifies supervision/engineers of equipment malfunctions. Keep the Kiln area and equipment clean and orderly. Process products per the production planning. Notify a supervision or engineer of out of specification conditions or any non-conformity relating to the product. Move completed product to its designated areas.
SKILLS:
Able to perform simple data entry and use Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Working knowledge of basic arithmetic, negative numbers, decimals and fractions. Able to read and understand technical reports, process specifications, and office correspondence. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma, AS Degree or equivalent required 1 year of experience in a Manufacturing Environment Available to work night shift Available to move between workstations.
