Job Description

We are seeking a detailed oriented, safety minded and highly motivated individual to fill the role of Production Associate 1.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Proficient at all essential duties and responsibilities of "Production Associate 1" job descriptions. Ability to operate 1-2 machines (slitter, printing press or sheeter) efficiently. Ability to read and follow workorder instructions. Can perform a machine "changeover" in a safe and timely manner. Can keep up with operator maintenance items (changing o-rings or pistons. Changing doctor blade assembly). Communicate needed maintenance items to supervisor or maintenance department. (new bearings, new set screws for trunnion bar. Worn shaft ends.) Keep a clean and organized work area. Enters production data into Radius operating system and downtown recording program with accuracy and details. Can properly start-up and shut-down 1-2 machines (slitter, printing press or sheeter) Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures. Have your assigned machine running at the time your shift begins. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Education and/or
Work Experience Requirements:
Must be detailed oriented. Must be a team player and consistently have a positive attitude. Must have computer skills and data entry. Possess a willingness to learn and seek personal growth. Basic math skills. Ability to read a tape measure. High school diploma or GED required.. ______________________________________________________________________________________________
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Ability to stoop, bend, and twist repetitively. Ability to stand on feet 12 hours per day. Ability to multi-task. Be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone. Proficient computer skills and data entry. Possess a willingness to learn and seek personal growth. Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions. Ability to understand written and verbal instructions. Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
