Assembly Lead 1st Shift

SUMMARY•Oversees and is responsible for all aspects of departmental production and the suitability for sale of all items produced during his/her assigned hours.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Responsible for the health & safety of all employees assigned during his/her shift.

Follow and ensure that subordinates adhere to all applicable safe work policies & procedures.

Maintain a safe & clean work area.

Ensure that corporate policies and procedures are followed. Take disciplinary action as neededEnsure that all orders produced are completed according to the specifications provided.

Maintain acceptable production ratesComplete all paper work and data entry as required.

Responsible for the training and retraining of crew members and support personnel.

Other duties as assigned by management.

EXPERIENCE

•5 years press experience preferredHigh School Diploma or higher preferred, but not required

LANGUAGE SKILLS

•Needs a working understanding of both written & spoken English

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

•Must be able to read & use a non metric measuring tapeMust be able to count & perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division)
