Job Description

In this role, you will assist the shift supervisor with production workflow activities to achieve efficient and smooth production operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Compiles and maintains records such as container/storage labeling, inventory transactions, in process production reports and status and location of materials. Examines materials and packaging being handled and verifies labeling and packaging for accuracy and checks for discrepancies such as damaged or unmarked materials and product. Completes weighing, counting, inventory reporting, packaging, and storage of finished product. Restocks material, boxes, and other supplies for people working in production. Identifies type and quantity of materials required and availability for production by reviewing production schedules, work orders and inventory reports while also communicating with supervisor. Accurately computes amount of material required to complete job orders. Timely locates and distributes materials to specified production areas to avoid any production interruption. Safely operates the forklift to various work and storage areas in the delivery and storage of materials, packaging, and finished goods. Cleans and maintains work area and equipment used (such as hoppers and dryers) and assists in maintaining organization throughout the production areas. Assists with relieving machine operators for breaks. Assists with the communication and monitoring of part quality specifications. Participates in the training and development of machine operators. Actively assists in maintaining production goals and ISO expectations. Assists with the set up and cleaning of grinders, dryers, loaders, and additive feeders. Assists with dismantling set up and puts equipment and tools in their proper storage area. Occasionally opens containers/ barrels/gaylords and accurately mixes additives with the raw materials in blender or tumbler according to specifications. Offers suggestions for productivity improvement and work flow processes.
Core Hours:
4:00 PM - 12:30 AM, Monday - Friday.
