Full Job Description Description:

Malloy is seeking a motivated and reliable Production Assistant to join our Electrical Panel Shop team. This role contains a variety of duties including CNC operation, inventory control, forklift operation, and more. The Production Assistant will be responsible for helping the shop maintain and hit its deadlines by assisting in all stages of production. The role offers the benefit of having flexibility in daily tasks based on the shop's needs. On-the-job training is offered for all duties associated with the Production Assistant role. After obtaining sufficient working knowledge, experience, and training Production Assistants can be promoted to an Electrical Control Panel Builder.

Responsibilities:

CNC Operation

• load and run pre-designed files into CNC, verifying measurements and layouts of cut placements, clean and package materials after cutting. Forklift Operation
• responsible for assisting in the shops loading and unloading of materials. Inventory Control
• manage and organize electrical components, tools, and materials required for panel assembly.

Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain an organized and clean work environment. Perform other responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. Team-player who can also work independently and is self-motivated. Strong communication skills, time management, and attention to detail. Use basic hand and power tools, operating forklifts and overhead cranes as required. Employment is contingent upon passing a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Starting Hourly Rate:

$18.00

• $22.

00 per hour depending on experience.

Schedule:

Monday

• Friday from 6:30am
• 3:00pm with a half hour lunch break
