Job Description
Production Operator Production Operator A. O. Smith
- Ashland City, TN On-the-Spot Offers Available Meet the
Recruiter:
Tuesday or Thursday, 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM 500 Tennessee Waltz Pkwy, Ashland City, TN 37015 Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $19.00
- $21.00 per hour Comprehensive benefits effective Day 1, including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus, paid in increments of $500 at 3, 6, and 12 months (subject to eligibility and attendance requirements). Additional benefits include company-paid life insurance, short
- and long-term disability, 401(k) retirement plan, tuition assistance, on-site cafeteria, Wellness Clinic, company store, and employee discounts on Aquasana water filtration products.
- Assemble components per work instructions
- Perform robotic and/or manual welding
- Apply ceramic glass coatings
- Load/unload tanks from paint systems
- Operate hand tools (manual and automated)
- Set up and operate production equipment
- Follow safety, quality, and work standards Qualifications
- 6 months manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to work 2nd shift (start times ~2:00 PM; end times up to 1:30 AM)
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods with frequent bending/reaching
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs with or without assistance
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
