Full Job Description Print Production Specialist Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Job Type:
Full-time Monday to Friday (Weekends as needed)
Hours:
1st Shift 7:00AM-4:00
PM Job Summary:
We are seeking a Digital Print Operator for our Large Format print department. The operator will be responsible for the day-to-day printing with EFI Vutek, Canon, Epsons, and Xerox machinery.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to set up and operate multiple digital print machines.
  • Working knowledge of digital, offset, and large format printing processes.
  • A strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision.
  • Able to multitask well, remain organized, and handle many projects at one time.
  • Hard-working, assertive, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Mechanically inclined and production oriented.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to react quickly and make continuous adjustments to provide top quality products.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure and basic computer skills.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Read and understand job tickets. Use job ticket information to ensure production is produced according to specification
  • Perform quality checks according to established procedures to ensure high quality of production
  • Monitor machine efficiencies & speed to ensure production levels meet or exceed standards & make appropriate adjustments
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for the overall safety and cleanliness of equipment and area
  • Perform other duties as assigned Bonus Points (Not Required): Experience with Fiery and Onyx Thrive softwares.
Experience installing vinyl graphics, wall decals, or vehicle lettering. Comfortable with on-site installation work (vehicle wraps, door/window decals, etc.). Basic understanding of surface prep, alignment, and application techniques.
