Sewing/Quilting Educator

Do you love to sew, quilt, or embroider? Are you comfortable on camera? If so, we have the perfect position for you! We are looking for a confident and creative individual to join our marketing team! In this role, you will be helping to manage and grow our social media presence. Your primary responsibility will be creating engaging video content in the sewing, quilting, and embroidery category. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of content creation for a brand, from conceptualization to production. Don't have video editing experience? No problem! Your team handles that and will help teach you the basics. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work well in a team environment. Sewing, quilting, or embroidery experience is a MUST. Job Responsibilities:

Come up with sewing/quilting video concepts Create visually appealing and engaging sewing/quilting video tutorials Develop compelling narratives and stories through video content that resonates with our sewing community Providing input and ideas for new content concepts and projects Help our customers during the sales process for higher-end machines Help our customers post-purchase, with answers to technical questions of their machines (virtual training) Providing support and assistance to other members of the marketing team as needed Some travel may be required

Qualifications:

Minimum 2+ years of sewing, quilting, or embroidery experience Must be comfortable and confident being on camera Excellent oral/written communication skills required Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple assignments Must have the ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on quality and accuracy Typing skills 20+ WPM preferred Strong PC skills required The ability to use multiple computer programs simultaneously is required Sewing Parts Online is a 18-year-old e-commerce company located in Dickson, TN. We sell sewing machines, parts, fabric, and accessories to consumers, businesses, and schools through our industry-leading website.
