Job Summary :

As a Production Assistant, you will be expected to work with oversight on specified equipment. This position reports to the VP and General Manager. This individual must be self-motivated, flexible in tasks and have good computer skills. Monday-Friday 7:00am

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

The Production Assistant is responsible for contributing to all aspects of production and will be expected to learn operations and support of specified equipment. The position will work in collaboration with all other production support positions. Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

• Understanding of equipment operations, including required PPE and safety requirements.
• Maintains constant communication with the VP/General Manager and Screenroom communicating deviations from schedule or production concerns.
• Maintains established quality standards and follows established procedures for assuring quality.
• Maintains the physical cleanliness and organization of Production area.
• Maintains a positive team atmosphere, and communicates professionally and positively with coworkers. Qualifications & Experiences
• Proficient in basic computer skills. Experience with graphic applications a plus.
• Strong multi-tasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to both adapt to and manage changing priorities, including but not limited to processes, equipment and responsibilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Hands-on problem solver.
• Maintains an awareness of conditions that affect employee safety and consistently behaves in a safe manner and encourages others to do the same.
• Work conditions include working around forklifts and other powered equipment.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain established quality standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stoop, twist and bend.
• Requires minimum lifting ability of 40 pounds; may require heavy lifting of 50+ pounds with assistance of team members and/or equipment.
• Job will be performed in a manufacturing environment that may be noisy, dirty, hot and/or cold.
