Summary The Production Setup Associates report to the Production Supervisor. Responsible for mold setup, troubleshooting and other duties as assigned.

Duties Include But Not Limited To :

• Attends daily meeting with team leaders and supervisors to determine priorities
• Maintains schedule of mold changes and communicates schedules from shift to shift
• Responsible for all equipment and tools to facilitate mold changes including nozzles, molds, hanger bolts, etc. Will be expected to notify supervisor if equipment is not available.
• Responsible for checking rubber availability for new mold production run and to notify supervisor if there is not enough compound to complete the scheduled run.
• Will be responsible for complete setup including pulling old mold, setting new mold and installing all related machine parts to assure proper safe operation. Molds pulled from production will be returned to mold maintenance with proper paperwork completed.
• Responsible for having rubber and other raw materials at machine ready for production. Will also return any unused materials to racks.
• Will observe and evaluate first piece of production.
• Will use safe work practices and follow all safety rules.
• Will need to assist with 5S activities as needed.
• Any other job duties as assigned by supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

Position requires a High School Diploma, GED Diploma or equivalent - training and or experience.
