Job Description
We are looking for a talented . Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, you'll help maintain a safe work environment. Promptly reporting any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards will contribute to a proactive safety culture. Adhering to HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations ensures that all safety and environmental guidelines are met. Consistently using appropriate personal protective equipment will protect you and your colleagues from potential hazards. By looking out for one another and promoting interdependence, you'll foster a supportive and safe workplace. Recognizing and minimizing the negative impact of your work on the environment will support sustainability efforts. Following standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures will help maintain high product standards and reduce costs. Actively participating in training and development, and engaging in ways to improve quality, safety, and processes will drive overall team and organizational success. To be successful in this role you will need the following: Develop and deliver clear, multi-mode communications tailored to the unique needs of different audiences. This ensures everyone understands the message and can act accordingly. Be willing to address difficult issues head-on and say what needs to be said, even when it's challenging. This helps in resolving problems quickly and maintaining transparency. Consistently achieve your goals, even under tough circumstances. Apply your understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and applications to implement changes that meet the function's needs. This will support continuous improvement and operational efficiency. Recognize and appreciate the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to the organization. This inclusivity will enhance team collaboration and innovation. High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience. These 5 positions will be for night shift, Weekend B. These positions will be required to work 12 hours per shift Friday through Sunday. The Forging Press operator will be responsible for setting up and operating a forging press. Must be able to stand on their feet 12 hours per shift in a fast-paced production environment. This position requires all safety policies and procedures to be followed as well as following Cummins company policies. Candidates must be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis. _
