Job Description

Bunzl Safety is seeking a Production Associate for our facility in Piperton, TN. The Production Associate will assemble boxes or make alterations to various products. The Production Associate is responsible for learning proper procedures and product information required to perform the job in a manner consistent to company standards. The Production Associate assures the quality and quantity of the product produced. Hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm.
Responsibilities:
Label, bag, box and prepare finished goods for shipping Ensure that all products produced are free of defects and meet quality standards Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety and in accordance with OSHA standards
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred. 1 year of experience in a Production environment. Must be able to work overtime as needed. Must be able to do simple math. Must be able to read and write legibly. Must be capable of standing and sitting for extended periods of time. Must have the ability to follow directions.
