Our company is committed to providing our customers with exceptional products and services, and we are looking for a Production Superintendent to help us achieve this goal.Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Superintendent with a military background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency
- Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers
- Monitor and analyze production data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Manage and lead a team of production supervisors and operators, providing guidance and training as needed
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as applicable safety and environmental regulations
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation and efficiency throughout the production process
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to production activities, including inventory levels, production output, and quality metrics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Military background preferred
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and principles, with experience in foundry operations a plus
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
