Production Associate

Job Title:

Production Associate Job Description The Production Associate plays a vital role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who have experience working in warehouse or plant environments and are eager to contribute to a dynamic team. Responsibilities Conduct visual inspection of products to ensure quality standards are met. Follow all safety, quality, performance, and attendance rules diligently. Load and unload glass on various conveyor systems efficiently. Move racks of product using powered industrial trucks. Band racks of product according to specifications. Pack products into racks for shipment to other areas of the plant or to customers. Perform adjustments and minor repairs to machinery as needed or directed. Generate and maintain appropriate records as required. Achieve operator certification in all functions worked. Participate and embrace continuous improvement (LEAN) actions. Essential Skills General production experience. Ability to conduct visual inspections of parts. Experience in packaging and inspection processes. Capability to perform general labor tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse or plant environment. Entry-level position with training provided.

Shift hours:

6:30 PM to 6:45 AM for C&D shifts. Orientation on first shift for the first week: Tuesday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3 PM. Opportunity to transition to permanent status after 90 days and join the union. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vonore, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.48 - $19.48/hr.
