Temp RPM Staffing is seeking a detail-driven Fiber Optic Cable Assembly Termination Operator to join a growing production team in McKinney, Texas! In this role, you'll work with advanced fiber optic components, performing precise termination processes that directly impact product quality and performance. What You'll Do Perform fiber optic cable termination, including stripping, cleaning, and cleaving Mix and prepare epoxy for termination processes and apply with precision Conduct visual inspections of in-process assemblies to ensure quality standards are met Maintain a clean, organized workspace following 5S principles Complete production documentation, labeling, and lot tracking to ensure full traceability Follow all safety, quality, and EHS procedures, including PPE requirements and lockout/tagout practices Collaborate with production, quality, and shipping teams to meet deadlines and customer expectations What You Bring Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to work with delicate glass fibers Excellent attention to detail and fine motor skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) Ability to identify color-coded fibers accurately Qualifications 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred High school diploma or GED preferred U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (required for compliance with ITAR regulations) Work Environment Fast-paced manufacturing setting with clean-area/ESD controls Frequent standing and walking, with close teamwork across departments Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Physical Requirements Strong manual dexterity for handling small, fragile components Ability to use microscopes and precision tools Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during shifts Apply with Us Favorite Favorite
