In this Insectary Production Assistant role, you will work within a manufacturing environment focused on producing biological insecticides. The position is hands-on and involves working closely with a production team to carry out machine operation, quality control, and general production procedures. You will follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to maintain consistency and efficiency across production processes. Work closely with the production team to maintain a large colony of moths and caterpillars, supporting detailed processes for each stage of the insect life cycle. Operate customized equipment and machinery used to perform various processes of insect rearing in accordance with established methods. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to maintain consistency, efficiency, and quality in all production processes. Accurately record production data and maintain production records for reporting purposes, ensuring information isplete andanized. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and the production area to support reliable operation and product quality. Collaborate with the production team to ensure production processes arepleted efficiently and meet definedpany standards. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to identify opportunities, suggest ideas, and implement process improvements in production. Maintain a clean andanized work environment, including cleaning production areas, storing tools and equipment properly, and disposing of waste according topany guidelines. Ad to all workplace health and safety requirements while performing production and cleaning tasks. Support other production tasks as needed to help maintain smooth operations and timely production output. Your Skills Ability to work effectively in a hands-on, fast-paced production environment with biological products. Capability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions with attention to detail and consistency. Aptitude for operating customized equipment and machinery used in insect rearing and production processes. Strong attention to detail for accurately recording production data and maintaininganized production records. Willingness to perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and production areas as part of daily responsibilities. Ability to collaborate with a production team andmunicate effectively toplete processes efficiently. Commitment to maintaining a clean andanized work environment and followingpany waste disposal guidelines. Awareness of and adnce to workplace health and safety requirements in a manufacturing setting. Openness to participating in continuous improvement initiatives and supporting process improvements over time. Pay Details:
