Studio Assistant (Part-Time)

Studio Assistant (Contract/Part-Time) Oblisque is a boutique hospitality merchandising company creating custom retail and in-room products for hotels across the U.S. We work with independent and luxury hospitality brands on everything from candles and diffusers to custom amenities, packaging, and guest retail experiences. We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Studio Assistant to support day-to-day production and studio operations approximately 1 day per week, with potential for additional hours during larger projects. This is an ideal role for someone interested in fashion, merchandising, product design, hospitality, creative operations, or small business/startup environments. Responsibilities Label candles, bottles, and retail products Assist with light production tasks Pack and prepare shipments with strong attention to presentation and quality Organize inventory, samples, and studio materials Assist with sourcing and market research projects Support photoshoots, product prep, and occasional creative tasks Help maintain a clean, organized workspace Ideal Candidate Extremely detail-oriented and organized Comfortable with hands-on, repetitive tasks Interested in design, hospitality, retail, fashion, or consumer products Able to work independently and take initiative Strong aesthetic awareness and care for presentation Positive attitude and willing to jump into different types of work Bonus Skills (Not Required) Shopify Canva Photography/content creation Retail merchandising Inventory management Hospitality or boutique retail experience Details Freelance / contract-based role Approximately 6-10 hours per week depending on project volume

$20-24/hour depending on experience Flexible scheduling coordinated around production needs This is an independent contractor position ideal for someone looking for flexible creative operations work alongside school, freelance projects, or another part-time role.
