This position serves as a key point of contact for incoming print jobs, coordinating projects from initial order through production and delivery. The ideal candidate has prior experience in the print industry , strong customer service skills, and hands-on knowledge of print production, document preparation, file inspection, and graphic arts or imaging technology. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for receiving, reviewing, and electronically logging customer print jobs. Review customer orders and files for accuracy, quality, and production readiness. Estimate, schedule, track, and coordinate incoming print production and outsourced vendor jobs. Inspect digital files for potential production issues, including fonts, image resolution, formatting, and layout. Modify document layouts and impositions to achieve required finished results. Perform color management, color correction, trapping, and basic image editing when applicable. Convert files and documents using standard software and production tools. Troubleshoot production, output, and delivery issues to ensure customer requirements are completed successfully. Coordinate outsourced/custom print projects with approved vendors. Perform quality inspections of customer order information and completed work. Maintain accurate reporting logs and billing-related information. Provide basic training and assistance to customers using web-based ordering systems when requested. Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and approved vendors. Operate standard office equipment, including printers, copiers, and related devices. Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting production deadlines. Work effectively both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 3-5+ years of relevant professional experience. Minimum 2 years of customer service experience within the print industry. Post-high-school technology training or equivalent hands-on experience. Training, education, or professional experience in graphic arts, imaging science, print technology, networking, or multiple operating systems. Strong understanding of print production workflows and digital file preparation. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office , including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong general computer skills, including email, web-based applications, file management, document storage, printing, and data entry. Excellent customer service and client relationship-building skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational, multitasking, and follow-up abilities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to troubleshoot problems and independently identify solutions. Ability to work effectively with customers, team members, and external vendors. Ability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision. Preferred Background Candidates with previous experience in commercial printing, digital print production, print customer service, prepress, graphic arts, document production, or managed print services are strongly encouraged to apply.
