Full Job Description TITLE:
Railcar WorkerB POSITION OBJECTIVE
The material handler's primary function is to assist operator in keeping the lines running to produce product that are manufactured to specification in the safest and most efficient manner possible.QUALIFICATIONS
GED or HS diploma 1-3 years manufacturing environment experience preferred as a machine operator. Basic math skills and some mechanical abilities Must be able to speak, read and write the English language is preferred Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for moving palletized materials and finished goods throughout the plant as well as interacting with the Supervisor and Lead Operators and producing labels for the finished goods in the safest and most efficient manner possible. Must observe all safety precautions and regulations at all times in all areas where duties are performed. Will be responsible for reporting all safety hazards and potential unsafe working conditions. Must actively participate in safety meetings. Including passing fork-lift driver's test. Must understand and comply with all current plant policies and procedures. Will stage all material necessary to manufacture and package the appropriate product. Will weigh and wrap all products as required. Will keep packers supplied with all necessary items. Will load and change raw materials. Will keep the materials neat and orderly and in their proper place. Will initiate, maintain and complete all required paperwork for this position Will be required to conduct safety inspection of fork-lift. Must meet production and quality standards on a consistent basis. Relieve packers for breaks as needed.WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION
