Production Associate

•Paint in Georgetown, TX 78626

Pay:

$17+/hr

Schedule:

Monday

•Friday 1st shift 6am-2pm 2nd shift 2pm-10pm 3rd shift Sunday

•Thursday 10pm-6am

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Under minimal supervision, hangs fabricated parts on the conveyor paint line to engineering specifications, and prepares parts for painting. Removes parts from the line once painted. Removes any debris from parts prior to hanging. Determines best practice hanging methods to maximize paint quality and load density. Inspects hooks for burn off lifecycles. Inspects and maintains equipment for compliance with safety requirements, including but not limited to all guarding. Corrects any safety issues prior to operating the equipment. Inspects coated items for paint coverage and tests for coating thickness. Performs some washer preventive maintenance tasks. Cleans and maintains work area and equipment. Assists and trains others to hang parts on the paint line.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

A minimum of one (1) year of related experience strongly preferred. Experience working overnight or understanding of night shift is required. Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering specifications to properly select parts. Capable of using measuring devices as required for product inspection. Good mechanical skills including the use of hand tools. Good troubleshooting skills such that, after a reasonable training period, the employee will be able to evaluate operational problems of the equipment and know the proper corrective actions. Ability to read and understand equipment operating, maintenance, and troubleshooting manuals. Available and willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as production demand dictates.
