Job Description

Overview Celanese is expanding its Manufacturing Digital program and is seeking a Senior Associate Specialist, Digital Manufacturing Enablement & Communications to drive awareness, adoption, and sustained value of digital capabilities across global manufacturing sites. This role leads communications, marketing & branding, adoption support, and training enablement efforts that ensure manufacturing leaders, operators, and support teams understand why digital solutions matter, how to use them, and where to engage. The role partners closely with the Celanese Training organization, Digital Manufacturing product and deployment teams, and site stakeholders to deliver consistent messaging, role-based learning, and strong program visibility. This is a non-engineering role focused on enablement, communications, and internal program marketing. Responsibilities Communications
  • Develop and deliver clear, consistent communications supporting Digital Manufacturing initiatives.
  • Translate complex digital topics into practical, easy-to-understand messaging for manufacturing leaders, operators, and support teams.
  • Own communications related to digital deployments, training availability, and adoption support.
  • Support leadership and executive communications tied to Digital Manufacturing enablement. Program Marketing & Branding
  • Develop and execute an internal program marketing strategy to increase awareness, engagement, and demand for Digital Manufacturing capabilities.
  • Create compelling narratives that articulate the value, benefits, and outcomes of digital solutions for different manufacturing audiences.
  • Build and maintain Digital Manufacturing branding elements (e.g., program identity, key messages, visual standards).
  • Partner with product and deployment teams to market new capabilities, releases, and success stories.
  • Curate and promote site-level and enterprise success stories, testimonials, and use cases.
  • Leverage multiple internal channels (e.g., intranet, newsletters, town halls, campaigns) to reinforce consistent program messaging. Adoption Support
  • Partner with stakeholders to integrate training, communications, and marketing into rollout and sustainment activities.
  • Gather user feedback and continuously improve training, messaging, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Track training participation, engagement indicators, and awareness metrics; identify and address gaps as needed. Training & Enablement
  • Coordinate the development of role-based Digital Manufacturing training in partnership with the Celanese Training organization.
  • Work with product teams, deployment leads, and subject-matter experts to translate digital solutions into effective learning experiences.
  • Support multiple training formats, including instructor-led training, virtual sessions, eLearning, and job aids.
  • Ensure training content aligns with deployment timing and remains current as solutions evolve. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Organizational Development, Education, Manufacturing, Marketing, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience leading or coordinating training, communications, and/or internal program marketing for enterprise or manufacturing programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse manufacturing audiences.
  • Ability to translate technical or digital concepts into clear value-driven messaging.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across functions.
  • Ability to influence and partner effectively without formal authority.
  • Experience working within global or matrix organizations preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
