Lubbock, TX Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join our production team. This position is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of print finishing and bindery equipment while supporting inventory and warehouse operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machinery, solving problems, and learning new skills in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities Operate and learn to operate production equipment, including folders, perfect binders, booklet makers, UV coaters, and related finishing equipment. Set up production jobs and monitor quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Troubleshoot equipment and production issues using logical problem-solving skills. Perform routine maintenance, equipment adjustments, and minor repairs. Stock and organize paper inventory and finished products. Read and follow job specifications, work orders, and equipment manuals. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Assist with warehouse and production support duties as needed.
Skills and Experience:
Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively. Good reading comprehension and basic math skills. Ability to use measurements, rulers, and production specifications accurately. Ability to lift and move paper stock and finished materials. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Experience Printing, bindery, manufacturing, machine operation, or equipment maintenance experience
