Bring your Resume!!!! Machine Operator - Entry Level

Position Summary We are seeking an entry-level Machine Operator to operate primary and secondary machinery in a manufacturing environment. The Machine Operator will support production operations by producing quality parts according to established specifications, drawings, and safety procedures. This position requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Essential Job Duties

Operate machines such as mills, drills, presses, and other manufacturing equipment.

Perform secondary and manual operations, including sorting, deburring, and basic machine setup.

Read and interpret blueprints, routers, inspection instructions, and engineering drawings to determine job specifications and tolerances.

Inspect finished parts using calipers, gage pins, thread gages, indicators, and other measuring equipment.

Make simple machine adjustments and tool replacements as needed.

Monitor production processes to prevent errors, scrap, and rework.

Maintain production schedules while ensuring required quality inspections are completed.

Communicate technical and production-related issues to supervisors, leads, auditors, and coworkers.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including assigned tools and gauges.

Assist maintenance or lead/setup personnel with routine equipment maintenance.

Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Participate in training and learn manufacturing processes, measurement techniques, blueprints, and inspection procedures.

Work effectively in a team environment and contribute to production and company goals.

Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Entry-level manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, routers, and inspection instructions.

Ability to use basic measuring tools such as calipers and gauges.

Basic math and measurement skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Training Requirements Training may include: Blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation

Use of measuring tools and inspection equipment

IP sheets and production documentation

Machine operation and secondary operations

Company safety procedures

Quality management procedures

ITAR requirements

ITAR Requirement:

Only U.S. citizens and permanent residents may work on ITAR-controlled assignments. Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the workday.

Frequently lift, carry, slide, or relocate materials weighing up to 25 lbs.

Occasionally lift, carry, slide, or relocate materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch regularly.

Ability to use hands, wrists, and fingers for repetitive manufacturing and tooling tasks.

Ability to safely move throughout a manufacturing facility, including uneven or potentially slippery surfaces.

Ability to visually inspect parts, read documents, blueprints, and computer screens.

Ability to communicate effectively and hear instructions in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment & Safety

Manufacturing/warehouse environment.

May be exposed to machinery, chemicals or solvents, RF devices, and elevated noise levels.
