As Line Lead, you'll be the front-line supervisor on one of our filling lines — a hands-on leadership role on a small, fast-moving team where your work makes a visible impact every single day.
Competitive pay:
$12-$14/hr contingent on experience Consistent full-time hours with overtime opportunities Ground-floor leadership opportunity on a small, growing team Be part of building something from the ground up What You'll Do Direct operators on your assigned filling line throughout production shifts Execute line startup, changeover, and shutdown procedures per SOP Monitor line speed, fill accuracy, seaming/capping integrity, and labeling quality in real-time Perform and document in-process quality checks at established frequencies Complete batch records, production logs, and material usage documentation Coordinate with QA on hold/release samples and testing schedules Troubleshoot minor line issues (jams, misfeeds, label misalignment) independently Escalate mechanical, electrical, or quality issues to the Production Manager or Chief Engineer Train new operators on line-specific SOPs and safe work practices Ensure GMP and safety compliance on the line floor (PPE, hygiene, housekeeping) Coordinate with Warehouse/Logistics on material staging and finished goods handoff Communicate production status and any issues at daily pre-shift meetings What We're Looking For Requirement Details Experience 3+ years operating filling/packaging equipment in food or beverage manufacturing; previous lead or supervisory experience on a production line Skills Able to read and interpret batch sheets, production schedules, and client specifications; strong mechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting and adjustments Knowledge Working knowledge of GMP, food safety, and sanitation practices Language Bilingual English/Spanish required Physical Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
