Job Description
Responsibilities Process and review all customer orders. Coordinate all information to the appropriate departments. Set up and maintain all customer information within operating system. Identify and resolve problems relating daily production. Complete and update any changes to Standard work instructions. Support any customer special requests and provide accurate shipping information. Address issues regarding quality and production. Update production patterns IMM and paint. Manage and update machine capacity IMM and Paint (short/long term). Manage deadlines based on project expectations (SOP/EOP build out, transfer business etc.). Manage/update finish goods safety stock. New project implementation. Maintain awareness and understand the roles and responsibilities regarding the environmental policies, management system, and objectives and targets by attending the required training. Perform all tasks in accordance with the EMS procedures and practices and minimize the impact of their activities on the environment. Qualifications Technical certifications such as an APICS certification preferred Prior experience as a production planner in the industry preferred Good understanding of the industry market trends and conditions Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exceptional organizational and time-management skills Strong regard for product quality and safety standards Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Meticulous and diligent Able to sit, stand and move around for long hours at a time Physical Demands Must be able to lift up to 30 Pounds Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to workday or night shift. Must be able to work overtime as required Working Conditions Must be able to work in the manufacturing floor 100% of the time. Able to use Protective Equipment according with the safety requirements for each area Able to work in heavy traffic areas. Able to work in hot and humid conditions. Able to work in noisy areas were hearing protective equipment is required Able to work with chemicals. Able to work with machinery.
