Job Description
We are looking for a candidate to help in our sign shop with a heavy emphasis on software-based sign design. Computer aptitude is a must, graphics software experience strongly preferred. As a small company, we pride ourselves on a high level of self-sufficiency and the ability to train staff across roles, so the position will be flexible among sign-making processes. Our industry is specialized, but direct experience is not required. The ideal candidate will have an outstanding work ethic, the willingness to learn, and the ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively should issues arise. The physical demands of the job are moderate. Sign shop tasks require frequently moving from sitting to standing, lifting of materials (typically under 20 LB, up to 50 LB on occasion), good manual dexterity, and potentially standing for extended periods of times. Work hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. No weekends, no evenings. Starting rate $15-16/hr DOE Examples of desired experience include, but are not limited to: Graphic design or photo editing software/apps Sign Production Abode Photoshop/Illustrator Microsoft Office/Google workspace
