 division is currently seeking a Commercial Brake Operator
  • 2nd Shift.
 The hourly rate for this position is $22.71/hour + $1.20/hour shift differential per hour. The core hours are 2:30pm to 11:00pm. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: Set up, understand and proficiently operate all Press Brake controls. Troubleshoot various and appropriate machine problems. ID and tag shop orders with product. Retrieve/enter data into system. Ensure quality and proper documentation on all parts. Maintain components and supplies as required to operate efficiently. Brake components based on print specifications. Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.

Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution Must have a minimum of one (1) year Press Brake or Machine Operations experience in industrial/manufacturing environment No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered. Preferred Qualifications:
Computer skills to include bending program loading. Solid math skills; analytical and reasoning skills.
Position Criteria:
Able to stand on feet continuously during shift and able to lift 50 lbs without assistance. Requires PPE to include safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, leather gloves, and hearing protection (as required in high noise areas).
