In this vital role, you will coordinate daily manufacturing activities, ensure accurate documentation, and support the seamless flow of materials and products. A positon that supports the Production department by assisting with inventory, daily communication between departments, training support, and coverage for the Production Supervisor. This role requires strong organization, effective communication, and a working knowledge of multiple production positions.
Your mechanical knowledge and factory experience will help maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist with inventory management by tracking raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse and production areas Operate forklifts and power tools safely to move materials around the factory floor Support assembly line operations by preparing parts, organizing supplies, and ensuring smooth workflow Use hand tools for minor adjustments or assembly tasks as needed Maintain accurate records of production activities, shipments, and inventory movements Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to uphold safety standards and identify potential issues early Provide daily updates regarding production needs, issues, and priorities. Help identify immediate production issues and escalate concerns when necessary. Assist with communication between Production and other related departments such as Quality, Maintenance, and G/A. Coordinate with employees to ensure daily tasks are communicated clearly. Assist with accident reporting, safety audits, and accident investigations. Monitor lines and report any safety hazards to appropriate personnel. Comply with GMP, Food Safety, and OSHA Safety guidelines and requirements. Qualifications Previous factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred Mechanical knowledge or background in assembly line work is highly advantageous Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and warehouse equipment such as forklifts Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and inventory tracking Ability to operate forklift equipment safely; certification is a plus but not required (training available) Familiarity with manufacturing processes and safety procedures in a fast-paced environment Warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding material handling and storage practices Join us in a role where your proactive approach and technical skills will drive success!
