The position is highly task-oriented and physical, focused on improving workplace organization, visual management, and overall efficiency through direct support of plant operations. Key Responsibilities:

Support daily production operations in a manufacturing or warehouse environment Perform material handling, equipment movement, and basic shop-floor support tasks Use hand and power tools for general maintenance, assembly support, and facility upkeep Assist with workplace organization, layout adjustments, and continuous improvement initiatives Build and maintain visual standards, including signage, training boards, and production displays Conduct routine 5S+1 audits and support lean manufacturing practices Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient production environment Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and shift priorities Support forklift operations (training provided if not certified)

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required Prior experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial environments preferred Mechanical aptitude, handywork, or maintenance experience is strongly valued Comfortable using hand tools and power tools Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and moving materials regularly Strong attention to detail, organization, and visual standards Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Ability to work early shifts and occasional weekend overtime as needed Team-oriented with the ability to follow directions and work independently when required Forklift certification a plus; willingness to be trained required More Than Just a Paycheck.
