Job Description

Your Job Georgia-Pacific Gypsum is seeking motivated and safety-oriented individuals to join our team as Production Operators at our Sweetwater, TX facilities.
Shift:
12-hour rotating shifts on days and nights with weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Day shift: 7am-7pm
  • Night shift: 7pm-7am
Pay:

  • Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
  • Monitor and/or enter data into computer control systems
  • Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
  • Perform basic asset care duties, including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area
  • Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
  • Operate and/or work around mobile equipment ranging from forklifts to heavy equipment Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, energy, warehouse, or military environment, or completion of post high school education in manufacturing, industrial, or a related field What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device
  • Experience troubleshooting equipment in a manufacturing setting
