In person Job Summary Arden's Print is hiring an experienced and detail-oriented Heat Press Operator / Production Assistant for our custom apparel print shop. The main responsibility is operating commercial heat press machines to apply DTF transfers to T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, tote bags, aprons, and other printable products. This position also includes order preparation, quality control, folding, packing, and basic inventory support. Previous experience with heat press or custom apparel production is required. Responsibilities Operate commercial heat press machines safely and efficiently. Apply DTF transfers to apparel, bags, aprons, and other products. Adjust heat, pressure, and pressing time when necessary. Position and align designs accurately. Select the correct garment color, size, style, and quantity for each order. Match garments with the correct design or transfer. Inspect products before and after pressing. Check for incorrect sizes, colors, designs, or placement; stains; damage; peeling; or other defects. Stop production and notify the owner if an order appears incorrect. Fold, label, organize, and pack completed orders. Keep customer orders separated and organized. Assist with restocking apparel and production supplies. Maintain a clean and safe workspace. Required Qualifications Previous professional heat press, print shop, or custom apparel production experience. Experience applying DTF or similar transfers. Ability to operate a heat press with limited supervision. Knowledge of proper temperature, pressure, placement, and pressing time. Ability to accurately identify garment colors, sizes, and styles. Basic English reading and communication skills. Ability to understand production sheets, order notes, garment labels, sizes, and colors. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Ability to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
