POSITION OVERVIEW
We're looking for a dependable, hardworking team member to join our Order Receiving team downstairs in our facility. This is a hands-on position that plays an important role in keeping inventory organized and making sure our production team has what they need to complete customer orders. As an Order Receiver, you'll receive and unload incoming boxes of jackets and other inventory, organize items in the appropriate areas, and check what has arrived against our orders to make sure quantities, sizes, colors, and other details are correct. You'll also gather and prepare inventory for orders that are ready to move into production and continue supplying the production team with the materials they need throughout the day. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys staying busy and active, can keep things organized, pays attention to the details, and understands the importance of keeping inventory moving. Because this position works closely with both incoming inventory and production needs, communication and teamwork are also an important part of the day. The Order Receiving team also helps with general facility needs, including taking out the trash each day, moving items when needed, and helping keep the downstairs and receiving areas clean and organized.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00
PM Breaks:
30-minute unpaid lunch and two paid 15-minute breaks
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Receive and unload incoming shipments of inventory Open, sort, and organize incoming boxes and materials Check received inventory against orders to make sure items, quantities, sizes, colors, and other details are correct Identify and communicate any missing, incorrect, or damaged items Organize inventory in the appropriate receiving and storage areas Gather the materials needed for customer orders Prepare and stage orders so they are ready to move into production Deliver and supply inventory to production throughout the day as orders are being worked Keep track of incoming and outgoing inventory to help ensure orders continue moving through the process Keep the receiving, inventory, and downstairs work areas clean and organized Take out facility trash daily as part of the team's regular responsibilities Assist with moving boxes, inventory, furniture, or other items throughout the facility when needed Help with other general facility or operational needs as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is an active, physical position that involves standing, walking, lifting, bending, reaching, and moving inventory throughout most of the workday. Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs. Must be comfortable regularly lifting and moving boxes of jackets and other inventory Must be able to unload shipments and move inventory throughout the facility Must be comfortable standing and moving for extended periods of time Must be able to bend, reach, and organize inventory at various heights
