INDUSTRIAL SEWING TECHNICIAN
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour (based on experience)Location:

Openwork, formerly Meador Staffing, is hiring an experienced professional Sewing Technician with safety gear in Webster! If you're proficient in various types of stitching styles, and have attention to detail, we want to hear from you.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate sewing machines and related equipment to produce aerospace garments to specification
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet strict quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Track production output and report issues to supervisors
- Assist with training new team members as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of industrial sewing experience (required)
- Experience with:
- Straight Stitch (single & double needle)
- Walking Foot
- Bartack
- Buttonhole
- 3-Thread Rolled Hem Serger
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, production-driven environment
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
