Position Summary The Softgel Production Worker supports the manufacturing of softgel capsules by operating equipment, preparing materials, monitoring production processes, and ensuring all products meet GMP quality standards. This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and essential to producing high‑quality nutritional supplements. Key Responsibilities Operate softgel encapsulation machines under supervision Prepare gelatin, fill materials, and other ingredients according to formulas Monitor capsule formation, ribbon thickness, seam quality, and machine performance Perform in‑process checks: weights, moisture, appearance, and batch documentation Load and unload trays, transfer softgels to drying tunnels, and rotate trays as needed Assist with tumble drying, sorting, and inspection Clean and sanitize equipment following GMP and safety procedures Follow batch records, SOPs, and production schedules Report equipment issues or deviations immediately Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Qualifications Machine Operator Experience required Ability to stand for long periods and lift 30-50 lbs Comfortable working in warm/humid environments (gelatin rooms) Basic math and ability to follow written instructions Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Work Environment Fast‑paced manufacturing floor Exposure to warm temperatures during gelatin processing
