Dispatch Truss Production Laborer | Hurricane, UT Nexeo Staffing is preparing for upcoming hiring needs and is looking to connect with reliable and hardworking individuals for Truss Production Laborer roles at a local truss manufacturing facility in Hurricane, UT. These full-time positions support the production of engineered wood floor and roof trusses in a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on teamwork, precision, and safety. If you enjoy hands-on work, are comfortable using tools, and want to be considered for future openings as they become available, this is a great opportunity to gain experience in manufacturing and construction-related production. Responsibilities Read engineered drawings and measurements to assist in building wood floor and roof trusses. Safely staple lumber and secure truss plates using hand and power tools. Measure, position, and assemble lumber accurately while maintaining production standards. Operate air tools, power tools, and hand tools safely and efficiently. Maintain clean and organized workstations, production tables, and surrounding areas. Keep truss plates and materials stocked to support production flow. Inspect work for accuracy and support quality standards in a fast-paced production environment. Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Work effectively both indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and seasonal conditions. Qualifications Ability to lift, pull, and move heavy materials regularly throughout the shift. Ability to read a tape measure and apply basic math skills accurately. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment. Ability to safely use hand tools, air tools, and power equipment. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and engineered drawings. Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Safety-minded with strong awareness of personal and team safety standards. Ability to remain flexible, trainable, and take ownership of responsibilities.
Preferred:
Previous experience in truss manufacturing, construction, carpentry, framing, or production. Pay $18.00 per hour Schedule Full Time | Day Shift | Monday-Friday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Overtime | Every Other Saturday 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM Nexeo Benefits
