  • 12 am : 3 openings) Overview Tall Hat Foods is looking for dependable team members to join our Production and Cleaning & Sanitation team .
This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary food manufacturing environment . The primary responsibility is to thoroughly clean and sanitize production equipment, work areas, and food-contact surfaces while following company food safety and sanitation procedures. The position also provides support with production equipment and daily production activities. Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize production equipment after production Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment as required Clean food-contact surfaces, floors, work areas, tools, and production areas Follow established cleaning and sanitation procedures and schedules Use cleaning and sanitizing chemicals safely and according to company procedures Inspect equipment and work areas to ensure they are properly cleaned and ready for the next production shift Report damaged equipment, sanitation concerns, or maintenance issues to the appropriate supervisor Assist with equipment setup and basic production activities Operate and monitor production equipment when needed Follow food safety, quality, safety, and company procedures Maintain a clean and organized work environment Work closely with production and sanitation team members to complete daily tasks Qualifications Previous experience in food manufacturing, cleaning, sanitation, or equipment cleaning is a plus (not required) High School Diploma or GED preferred Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping equipment and work areas clean Ability to follow detailed cleaning and sanitation instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work around production equipment Good communication skills Ability to perform repetitive tasks and remain active throughout the shift Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
Preferred:
1+ year in manufacturing Experience with Food Production Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs Stand for extended periods Climb ladders as needed Work Environment Food production facility Exposure to machinery, noise, and food allergens (milk, peanuts, coconut) Benefits Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance On-the-job training Work Location In person (Lindon, UT)
