Position Description for
Production Team Member Company:
Black Arch Holsters Reports to: Production Team member
Position Summary:
The Production Team Member supports full-line production in a safe, consistent, and efficient manner. In addition to thermoplastics work (forming, cutting, buffing, assembly), this role may rotate through soft-goods stations (leather cutting and basic sewing). Team Members follow established manufacturing processes, meet quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement while working hands-on across both hard- and soft-goods as business needs require. This position is part-time .
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that production is performed in a safe manner. This includes wearing all required personal protective equipment. Cross-train and rotate between thermoplastics and leather workstations as scheduled. Perform material prep and finishing for both soft and hard goods (cutting, deburring/buffing, assembly; basic machine sewing with training). Ensure Proper Kanban usage. Record basic production data (throughput/scrap) as directed. Seek assistance promptly when issues arise and support problem-solving on the line. Participate in training and skills development; support 5S, Kanban, and other lean initiatives. Work collaboratively to implement process improvements and support company projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to perform core functions on thermoplastics manufacturing lines after training. Positive, professional approach when working with teammates and management. Professional approach to working with other Team Leads and Management. Comfortable learning both hand/power-tool operations and basic sewing ; willing to rotate across stations as needed. Adherence to company values Show Respect for people Process oriented Continuous learning Flexible Collaborative Continuous Improvement Applicant Requirements Knowledge and experience of the safe operation, handling, and identification of firearms. Knowledge and experience of the safe operation, handling, and use of power tools. Willingness to work in both soft- and hard-goods production with training provided.

$16.00 per hour
