Job Title:
Warehouse Associate -
Sanding & Prep Technician Pay:
$19.00/hr Mity Inc is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Sanding & Prep Technicians to join their manufacturing team. This role involves preparing tables, chairs, and various products for painting and finishing by sanding, inspecting, and performing light assembly work. Hands-on skills and a strong commitment to quality are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Sand and prepare furniture components for finishing and painting Inspect product surfaces for imperfections to ensure strict quality standards Use hand and power tools for sanding, preparation, and assembly tasks Operate production equipment efficiently and safely Cooperate with production and paint teams to achieve daily goals Maintain a clean and organized work environment Adhere to all safety and quality regulations Take on additional manufacturing and production duties as directed
Qualifications:
Previous experience in sanding, finishing, woodworking, manufacturing, or production is a plus, but not required Proficiency with hand and power tools Excellent attention to detail and a focus on quality Ability to stand, bend, and do repetitive tasks for a 10-hour shift Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Steel-toed boots are mandatory Must have reliable transportation and a strong attendance record
Work Schedule:
Evening shift, Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 3:30 AM #IndSlc
