Machine Operator Wild Coyote Foods, LLC | St. George, UT | Full-time | $16-$20/hour DOE About Us Wild Coyote Foods is a St. George-based food manufacturer supplying major grocery retailers across the West. We're a growing, close-knit team that takes pride in making quality products the right way, every day. The Position We're looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join our production team. You'll be responsible for making portion cups and/or processing vegetables for production, including equipment set up, operation, tear down, cleaning/sanitization and assembly. Responsibilities Set up and deploy production equipment at the start of each run Operate equipment to fill and seal portion cups and/or process vegetables for production Monitor product quality and output throughout the shift Make routine adjustments and troubleshoot minor issues to keep production running Tear down, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment at the end of each production day Follow all food safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Complete production and sanitation records accurately Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe Work closely with teammates and supervisors to meet daily production goals Qualifications Strong understanding of food safety and GMPs, or the ability to learn them quickly and follow them consistently Mechanical aptitude and comfort assembling and disassembling equipment Ability to work well in a team-based environment Reliable attendance and punctuality Close attention to detail Previous machine operation or food manufacturing experience is preferred, but we will train the right person Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift Stand, bend, and reach for extended periods Work in a food production environment, which may include cool temperatures and wet floors Pay $16-$20 per hour, depending on experience Schedule Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-2:00 PM Benefits Paid time off Paid holidays Paid lunch break, with food provided Bonus program: when the company does well, we want our team to do well Wild Coyote Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
