Ocala, FL (34474) Job Description The Utility Worker supports daily operations in a manufacturing environment by maintaining cooling and hydration stations and assisting with a variety of general labor tasks. This role is highly physical and requires working on your feet for extended periods while helping to keep the facility safe, clean, and well supplied. Responsibilities Fill and maintain water coolers throughout the facility to ensure hydration stations are consistently available for employees. Refill and maintain water levels in cooling fans as needed to support a comfortable work environment. Perform general cleaning duties to help maintain a safe, organized, and clutter-free work area. Assist with basic labor tasks as assigned by supervisors to support production and daily operations. Move, carry, and position materials or equipment as needed to keep workflows running smoothly. Essential Skills At least 1 year of general labor experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar environment. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods. Experience with general labor tasks such as material handling and basic production support. Ability to follow directions from supervisors and work effectively as part of a team. Strong attention to safety and cleanliness in a manufacturing setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications General production or labor-intensive roles. Comfort working in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility. Willingness to perform a variety of tasks and assist where needed across the facility. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility and involves working on the production floor. The role requires being on your feet for most of the shift and performing physically active tasks such as walking, lifting, and carrying materials. The standard schedule is first shift, Monday through Thursday, from 4:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with additional work on most Fridays depending on production needs. Team members work in a hands-on, industrial environment focused on safety, cleanliness, and efficient operations, with casual, practical attire suitable for manufacturing work.
