MANUFACTURING ASSOCIATES - CHESAPEAKE, VA
- $17.50/HOUR Looking for a stable job with serious career potential? The Lee Group is hiring Advanced Manufacturing Associates for a global leader in synthetic paper manufacturing located in Chesapeake, VA . Work in a clean, cutting-edge facility while earning competitive pay and benefits.
Pay:
$17.50/hour
Shifts:
Rotating 12-hour shifts | 5:30 AM-6:00 PM and 5:30 PM-6:00 AM (Must be available for both day and night shifts)

What You'll Be Doing:
Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment Troubleshoot issues and maintain smooth production flow Ensure quality standards are met across all product runs Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area Track production output and communicate discrepancies or issues Collaborate with teammates to meet production goals and deadlines
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GED Must pass background check and drug screen Reliable transportation and commitment to consistent attendance Flexible availability for rotating shifts (days and nights) Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Forklift or motorized equipment experience a plus Strong attention to detail and safety Positive, team-oriented attitude with a desire to grow
Additional Duties May Include:
Supporting finishing, packaging, maintenance, or quality assurance teams Responding to production line changes or upsets Participating in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives Keeping the production area clean and completing supervisor-assigned tasks Why Work for The Lee Group?
