Job Description

Production Worker - | Day Shift Join a small, supportive manufacturing team where you'll help assemble module boxes using simple hand tools and clear instructions. If you enjoy hands‑on work, staying busy, and being part of a team that values reliability, this is a great fit. ⭐ What You'll Do Assemble module boxes using hand tools and written instructions Follow blueprints and diagrams to complete each build correctly Use small tools like screwdrivers, drills, and wrenches Perform simple quality checks to ensure parts meet standards Keep your work area clean and organized Work with your team to meet daily production goals Follow all safety rules and company procedures ⭐ What Makes You a Great Fit Ability to read and follow diagrams or instructions Comfortable using basic hand tools Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required Strong attention to detail Able to stand for most of the shift and perform repetitive tasks Reliable, punctual, and able to follow direction ⭐ Nice-to-Have Skills (Not Required) Manual dexterity for handling small parts Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Comfortable bending, reaching, and moving throughout the shift ⭐ Why You'll Love Working Here Small company where you're treated like a person, not a number Great opportunity to show reliability and earn recommendations for future placements Strong performers may be considered for longer-term or permanent roles Supportive team environment with steady work Music plays throughout the day, creating a relaxed atmosphere ⭐ Work Environment You'll work in a manufacturing/fabrication setting that is fast-paced and team-oriented. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesapeake, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
