Position:
Pole Shop Operator Shift:
1st Starting pay: $19.93 We re looking for a dependable, hands-on team player with a strong manufacturing background to join our Pole Shop team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machines, has experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment, and is committed to producing high-quality work in a safe environment. What You ll Do As a Pole Shop Operator, you ll play a key role in the fabrication of poles by operating and maintaining production machinery, moving materials, and ensuring products meet specifications. You ll work closely with your supervisor and team to keep production running smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Operate and adjust manufacturing equipment, including: Metal Cutting Saws Punch Presses Drill Presses Hydraulic Benders Grit Blasters Burnishing Machines Paint Spraying Equipment Read and interpret bills of material, operation sheets, and engineering drawings to produce accurate parts. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, and hand trucks to move materials between workstations. Perform manual material handling as needed to load/unload machines and transfer products through each stage of production. Communicate with your lead or supervisor to resolve material or equipment issues quickly. Complete required production paperwork accurately and on time. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all housekeeping standards. Adhere to all plant and departmental safety rules and procedures. What We re Looking For Prior manufacturing or industrial experience (machine operation, assembly, or similar). Forklift and material handling experience required. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Team-oriented with good communication skills.
