Job Overview:
To guarantee the operation of machinery within design and product specifications as per the production plan within the agreed quality standards, with minimum wastage and assist with necessary "trouble shooting" processes wherever necessary to produce highest quality product with higher efficiency.Responsibilities:
- Assist in carryout of daily preventive maintenance in the beginning of the shift including L1 functions.
- Assist in preparation of the machine as per job card and production plan.
- Identify, isolate, and contain defects to levels of major, minor, and critical; and inform the Process Technician of related findings.
- Carryout in-process inspection on tubes as per the guidelines including entering quality checks.
- Identify problem areas and inform Process Technician with suggestions for improvements.
- Work with Process Technician in undertaking (in conjunction with production supervisor and maintenance personnel) troubleshooting, machine breakdowns and tool changes.
- Work as a team, to bring about measures for higher machine efficiencies and reduction in wastage on a continuous basis.
- Meet production targets as committed to clients without compromising safety and quality standards.
- Implement systems to enhance quality improvements to meet customer expectations.
- Operate machines and make labels as per the given design conditions and process parameters.
- Assist in maintaining daily and monthly production & quality records.
Requirements:
Minimum of six months experience in Industrial production and machine operation preferred. High school diploma or GED required. Adequate exposure in Industrial Production / Knowledge of Industrial machines. General preventive & corrective machine maintenance knowledge preferred. Quality conscious / Analytical / Focused Self-Starter. Training in ISO- 9000 :2000 / Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred.
