Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Corporate / Commercial Aircraft Thrust Reverser Technician to join our aircraft component maintenance team in Farmers Branch, Texas. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience removing, disassembling, inspecting, repairing, troubleshooting, and installing thrust reverser systems and associated components.

This position requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work from aircraft maintenance manuals, component maintenance manuals, engineering instructions, and other approved technical documentation.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Remove and install thrust reverser assemblies and associated components.

Disassemble, inspect, repair, overhaul, and reassemble thrust reverser components.

Perform troubleshooting and fault isolation on mechanical, hydraulic, and actuation systems.

Inspect components for wear, damage, corrosion, cracks, leaks, and other discrepancies.

Repair or replace defective components in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.

Perform functional and operational checks following maintenance.

Accurately complete maintenance records, inspection documentation, and work orders.

Use precision measuring tools and standard aircraft maintenance tooling.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Follow FAA regulations, company procedures, safety requirements, and applicable OEM instructions.

Communicate effectively with inspectors, supervisors, engineers, and other technicians.
